The Jewellery Studio x Words by Elle
In Summer 2024, I partnered with The Jewellery Studio to write and design six poetry pieces focusing on the themes of love and connection. The idea was to embody the essence of love through words – its feelings, memories and significance. These poems were materialised as luxury A7 prints and were then paired with rings from The Jewellery Studio’s beautiful new collection. Each customer purchasing a wedding band, engagement ring or bespoke gift then received a free poem with their order

Marketplace Poetry Pop-Up
July 2024 was one to remember. I ran a poetry pop-up for four beautiful days in the Nottinghamshire countryside at annual festival, Focus. Set in the Marketplace alongside a select number of vendors, Words by Elle was open for business each day between 12-7pm, stocked with original poetry prints and posters (now available to buy at elleredman.com/store). It was a real pinch-me moment to display and sell my work here, as well as connect with lots of lovely customers and creatives!

Wilderness Exhibition
In February 2024, I had the privilege of showcasing some of my poetry at Newark Studio’s Wilderness Exhibition [in partnership with the Creators Collective]. The event took place at Christ Church Spitalfields and comprised of a rich and beautiful variety of artwork, photography, crafts, music, poetry, spoken word and more.

In May 2020, I launched my online shop, Words By Elle. Born out of a love for poetry and a desire to communicate a message of hope during a difficult year, I began creating framed poetry prints and posters – each hand wrapped in burlap fabric and decorated with dried flowers. As part of my master’s degree in Magazine Journalism, I designed and created a mini magazine. With a strong focus on social justice, this magazine shares the moving stories of local change-makers and activists working to make Cardiff a city of sanctuary, safety and equality. We hear from inspiring local advocacy groups, charity founders, and crafters who speak of the causes close to their hearts, from migrant women’s rights to creative empowerment

Citizen Magazine – Writer & Editorial Lead
Citizen Magazine was published in Spring 2022 and celebrates the first-year anniversary of Citizen UK. The 45-page print publication includes a variety of stories and personal experiences of people within the community, as well as insights into some of the exciting events that took place over the course of the year. On this project, I supported and worked alongside the designer/creative producer to oversee the written content within the magazine. This included writing and editing stories, transcribing, proofreading and sub-editing copy
