Hello,
I
’m Elle – a journalist and copywriter by trade and a poet by heart.
I love meeting people from all walks of life and telling their stories – writing to express, connect, and make sense of the beautiful, changing world around me.
The journey so far: You’ll currently find me working as a copywriter at a London-based magazine publisher, where I write for a variety of editorial titles including BBC Good Food, Delicious, Olive, Radio Times, BBC Gardeners’ World, BBC History and more. My role here looks like crafting everything from print supplements, podcast scripts and digital advertorials to bespoke microsite builds and video campaigns.
Before landing here, my love for writing took me to a beautiful corner of Provence, France, where I wrote and edited luxury travel content for Voyage Privé as UK Content Editor.
I love to create poetry and prose, too. In fact, my notebook and pen come with me nearly everywhere I go. I’ve always admired the special way that words can move a world within us – compelling us, comforting us, making us laugh, and inspiring new ways of thinking in us.
